The original roofs over the front porch and back balcony of this Waukesha home had multiple layers of tar and rubber that over the years were no longer effective. Both roofs were stripped down to the boards and fresh plywood decking as well as EPDM rubber was installed.
During the tear off, a big challenge was preserving the home’s original architectural features. Great care went into the removal and re-installation of the unique 1/2 round style gutters in addition to matching the 3” profile of the 100-year-old lumber around both sections that were being re-roofed.
