A new roof was installed on this 1956 built home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The owners decided to go with the Brownwood colored Owens Corning Oakridge asphalt shingles. In addition to a new roof they invested in the Standard Air Sealing Package which consisted of air sealing around recess lighting, treating the attic access and top plates. During the initial assessment of the attic, a compromised rafter was discovered which BCI had to sistered to improve the load value of rafters.
